What you can expect from us, and what we expect from you, when you run interviews on Intervue.
Last updated29 October 2026Applies toRecruiter accounts
01
The agreement
By creating an account or using Intervue you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Candidates who simply take an interview do not need to accept these terms. They are covered by the candidate notice and the policy of the company that invited them.
02
What Intervue does
Intervue lets you create structured interviews, invite candidates by email, record their answers, transcribe and score them against criteria you choose, run integrity checks, and optionally check a candidate's ID against the name you invited. It also offers an API on Enterprise plans.
03
Accounts and your team
Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you add to your organisation. Tell us promptly if you think your account or an API key has been used without permission. API keys are shown once; keep them out of public code.
04
Your responsibilities toward candidates
Have a lawful reason to interview and monitor candidates, and tell them what will be recorded and checked. Our candidate notice explains this in plain language and you may link to it.
Ask only questions that relate to the job. Do not ask for ID numbers, health, religion, ethnicity, politics or other personal characteristics that have no place in hiring.
Do not use results to discriminate against anyone.
Treat flags and scores as evidence. Review them yourself before you decide, and do not rely on them alone to reject someone.
Keep what you export from Intervue safe and delete it when you no longer need it.
For candidate data, you are the controller and Intervue acts on your behalf. You are responsible for answering candidates' requests about their data, and we will help.
05
Acceptable use
Do not use Intervue to break the law, to harass or deceive anyone, to collect data you have no right to, to upload malware, to probe or attack the service, to resell it without our agreement, or to try to defeat the limits of your plan. We may suspend access if you do.
06
AI results and integrity checks
Scores, transcripts, recommendations and integrity flags are produced by AI and rule-based software. They can be wrong. Transcripts may contain errors, a flag may be a false alarm, and a face or ID check can fail for a genuine person. We do not promise that any check will catch every case of impersonation or cheating. That is why a person reviews the evidence and decides.
07
Plans, credits and payment
Plans are billed monthly in Ghana cedis (GHS) through Paystack. Each plan includes a number of interviews; extra interviews are charged at the price shown for your plan, and credit packs can be bought on top. Some options, such as the continuous identity check on Starter and Professional, use additional credits. Current prices and what is included are on the pricing section of our website and the billing page in your account.
Fees are not refundable except where we made a billing error or the law says otherwise. Contact us if something looks wrong. We may change prices for future periods and will give notice before a change applies to you.
08
API use
API access is part of Enterprise plans. Keep your keys secret, use test keys while building, and do not use the API in a way that harms the service or other customers.
09
Your content and ours
The interviews, questions and candidate data you put into Intervue remain yours (or your candidates' and your organisation's). You give us permission to store, process and display them as needed to run the service for you, including by the providers listed in our privacy policy.
Intervue, its design and its code belong to us. You may use them as the service allows and no further.
10
Availability and changes
We work to keep Intervue running and we save interview progress so that a dropped connection can resume. We do not promise the service will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or retire features. If we make a change that significantly harms you we will give notice.
11
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Intervue at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, do not pay, or put the service or other people at risk. Sections that by nature continue, such as liability, content and governing law, survive.
12
Disclaimers and limits on liability
Intervue is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, or hiring decisions made using the results. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere. We would rather resolve a problem directly first, so please write to us.
14
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email account owners before it takes effect. If you keep using Intervue after that, you accept the update. Questions: hello@intervue.ai.
Questions about any of this?
Write to us and a person will answer. If you are a candidate, you can also ask the company that invited you.
